The Barbados Breast Screening Programme
As the umbrella organisation, The Barbados Cancer Society proudly oversees and champions several impactful initiatives dedicated to the prevention, detection and treatment of cancer. One of our flagship programs is the Barbados Breast Screening Programme. The Breast Screening Programme (BSP) of The Barbados Cancer Society is dedicated to the prevention of premature deaths from breast cancer by early detection. The BSP offers ultrasounds, mammograms, breast exams and biopsies. The BSP also provides Barbadians across the island with mobile breast examinations through their mobile breast screening van.
